Winter is 'not' coming any time soon to Melbourne. Warm weather is still keeping up appearances and I can't be happier.

Yes, I know Coachella is over but I am still in the festival spirit as Boho chic is one of most spectacular and feminine styles that exist.

Why do I like this style?- I feel like this is a style of free-spirited and beautiful people. If I was to define it, I would use the words like artistic, joy and openness. This style allows the use of unusual patterns or prints in neutral/earthy shades ranging from grey, blue and even pink. You can create weightless effect by choosing fabrics like chiffon and lace. This style can be rocked on a beach or in the city, from day to night.

Additional options?- This look can be even be achieved with maxi dresses or maxi skirts- by adding crochet tops, chambray tops or even slouchy knits.Fur vest is another bohemian inspired garment that can be added as a outwear.

Footwear choices?- From ballet flats to cowboy boots, from gladiator sandals to ankle boots- you will be spoilt with choices.

Accessories- Choose from Felt Fedora hats, turbans, headbands, scarves, bracelets, rings, oversized necklaces, long chained big pendants- anything you want. After all its about being free-spirited.

Hairstyle and make-up?- Boho chic style requires minimal make-up and hairstyle like braids (simple middle braid/fishtail), messy top knots or even out-of-bed hair look.

There are so many ways of coming up with the Boho chic look that can suit your individual styles. Just be creative!!

So go ahead and try this charming bohemian goodness look!

Midi skirts make moving from one season to the next super easy.
It is one of the best trans- seasonal must-have pieces in your wardrobe. These skirts clinch at the waist and then elongate the look of your body by finishing just under your knees.

What I love about this skirt is it can be worn with a variety of tops.

Don't like crop tops?- No problem, you can wear any lighter fabric top from your wardrobe and just tuck it in (even if it is just the front tuck).

Don’t like tucked in tops?- Go with a peplum top to accentuate your waist.

For a relaxed and easy look you can wear this skirt with a simple t-shirt (yes!!).

Chill in the air?- Just add a cozy oversized knit. I would usually wear heels with a knit as I am not too tall however, you can add a pair of flats/ sneakers too.

A perfect work look can be created by adding a shirt and a cashmere sweater (if it's cold) to the high waisted midi skirt.

This is one look that can easily be taken from day to night without putting in a lot of effort.
You can add some accessories for the evening look and voila!

P.S.- I am currently in love with Mules for their comfort, versatility and giving height to my outfits that I always desire.

Trench coat is something that never goes out of style. It has a classic shape (I am so glad) that is flattering on almost every body type.Trench coat has been in style since the days of Audrey Hepburn and it’s the type of style that I love hitting city streets with.

I wanted to illustrate this look as we transition from summer to fall. We all know how temperamental Melbourne weather can be so I used this excuse to get myself a sleeveless Trench (#winning).

There is something chic about this stylish outwear that goes with just about anything in your closet. Here, I am sharing one of my most easiest look to style with a trench. (I am already thinking of writing another trench coat post with more looks, exciting!!!).

A classic beige trench comes with a range of styling options. I decided to pair it with a casual black denim, a graphic t-shirt (graphic t-shirts are my new found love) and a pair of incredibly comfortable heels.

Nothing beats the classic Beige trench but if it's not something you want, feel free to buy different colours ranging from navy to stone.

Pick the perfect layers of clothes that suit your style and you will never find it boring to repeat this outwear. Layering is something that has been in style for sometime and this outwear acts as a perfect addition.

Want to make it a little more edgy?- Instead of a T-shirt, wear a Cami and tie a neck scarf. Neck scarf gives your outfit a certain quirkiness that you will love.

What to do when it gets a little colder?- Add a sweater instead of T-shirt and wear your trench by tying a knot in the front. This way you keep the cold out and also emphasise your waist.

Don't want to emphasise your waist?- Choosing whether or not to nip your trench around the waist can also depend on your body shape. It you feel that it adds bulk to your waist then tie the belt loosely at the back and add shape instead of bulk.

Another look that is simple and easy for every body type is, the Cape look- Just drape your trench over your shoulders. Why?- Because it’s simple, fun and stylish.

Don't want to wear heels?- No problem!! Trench coat can easily be styled with a pair of sneakers or brogues. My only suggestion is- wear a longer trench coat when pairing it with flats for a relaxed look.

So, pop that collar and go find yourself that perfect trench.

Until we meet again!!

Just like Maxi dresses, Maxi tops are increasingly becoming a wardrobe staple. Whether it is for the relaxed day out with your girls or a night out in the city.

I am presenting multiple looks this time to show you
how versatile, comfortable and flattering this essential piece can be.

The maxi tops are defined by their long slits that makes them comfortable and sexy.

Where can you wear maxi tops, you ask?- Super easy. If you look at the red maxi top, I will usually wear it out to a brunch with my girls or even for a stroll through the city (by stroll I obviously mean shopping)

What else you can you match it with?- Apart from wearing it with leather leggings like I did, you can team it up with skinny jeans or a pair of shorts for summer.

Sure to become an everyday trend, this style is comfy and chic due to its draped fit and side high slits.

How to style it for a night out?- I like an All black look for a night out (you can't blame me, black is such a beautiful colour). Here, I accessorised with a piece of black jewellery, a black clutch and sky high heels (true blessing for all women).

Don't like stilettos?- Don't fear, you can always wear a pair of wedges or block heels. For me, I like adding some height to my outfits (wish I was taller).

Accessories?- If you don't like an all black look, just add some bling with a statement neckpiece in gold/ rose gold/ silver.

By now, I am sure you all know how much I love jeans, so this post will be incomplete if I don't team this pretty piece with jeans. So here's presenting the third and final look.

Very minimal and almost monochrome look (grey mules are breaking it) is something that looks stylish and is a must-wear during spring or fall. You can choose to dress it up with some accessories if you like.

Another thing I love about Fall is the leather jacket trend that continues year on year. So here is another look that can be taken from day to night.

And to wrap up,('coz I am sure you are dying to buy this must-have piece), I would just like to say, it's the easiest trick to looking chic and covering up on the fat days that we all have (I know the feels).

Let's get our Maxi tops on!!

If you’re like me, the reason you will choose to wear T-shirts is because they’re fabulously comfortable.
Though I enjoy slipping into fancier outfits time and again, T-shirts are my go-to piece for a relaxed look.

Another great thing about tees is that they can be up-styled and depending on the design, you can pair them with dressier elements to look effortlessly chic. Tucking your T-shirt in, helps pull together the perfect look and helps tidy up your outfit.

Tucking this tee into these bright culottes and pairing it with heels, made me feel like a Boss.

Dressing up a graphic T-shirt is one of my favourite things to do and you don’t necessarily have to buy a bold or statement making tee and they don’t break the bank.

Another combination I love is, pairing a T-shirt with skinny jeans and heels. This contrasting carefree style creates an effortless chic vibe that appears you didn't try hard (even if you did).

You can easily accessorise this look with wearing basic jewellery and a clutch.

I think choosing the right footwear is the key to elevate your T-shirt look. I usually add length with pumps or sandals and if I want to go low-key, sneakers or loafers are my choice (I love to add the glossy finish loafers).

If it’s a little cooler I usually throw on a trench coat that’s the similar length as my culottes.

I strongly recommend a graphic T-shirt for cocktail hour. Look for a cropped t-shirt that can be styled with a high waisted skirt or even a full skirt and sky-high heels.

Hope I have convinced you to include a graphic t-shirt in your fabulous outfit this weekend.

Outfit transitioning from Summer to Fall can arguably be tough especially when you live in Melbourne. I’m sure it comes by no surprise that I love these leather look pants as they look (and feel) super comfy.

Just like my previous posts, its the versatility of these slouchy but tailored leather pants that makes them a staple item in my wardrobe. You can easily dress them up or keep them super casual like I did.

Leather pants have got a certain trendiness about it which makes you feel sophisticated and rockstar like, all in one.
Frankly, anything looks good paired with them.

A perfect going out look can be achieved with a tucked in white shirt, a blazer and strappy heels.

More tops options, you ask?- (Silk) blouses, chunky sweaters, denim shirts or a simple casual t-shirt.

Unlimited shoes options- Stiletto pumps for a more sexy sophisticated look, ballet flats/ brogues for a classy simple look. Now that you ask, yes, you can even pair them with sneakers for a sporty chic look.

I love adding something edgy to my all black look- whether its gold accessories (for a night look) or cut out brogues and hat that I added to this outfit (for a casual look).

Leather is a super trend for fall and don’t worry you can get a lot of use out of it. This material will take you everywhere. The possibilities are just endless!
