Happy Saturday readers.

I wanted to share with you my new love- the all white outfit. I have never feared wearing white in summer but during fall / winter, it's a whole another story. Its like the colours just vanish from my wardrobe and I shift my focus to black and grey tones.

White is a timeless shade, but to pull off a successful all white look, you need to put together pieces in different textures and make a chic outfit.

Another thing you can do is, use different shades of white together in one outfit. The overall effect is still outstanding.
An all white outfit is more eye- catching then an all black look.

So, for me, white is the new (luxurious) black!

Just to give this outfit some edginess, I added this (shimmery) clutch and bright nails.
A lot of people like to team black with white and I think adding black creates it own kind of sophistication. If you don't want to add black and you are one of the colour lovers, You can use some colourful accessories to add some quirkiness to the outfit.

If you are someone like me, who thought white on white doesn't usually work in fall/ winter, go ahead and try this trend. I can promise you won't be disappointed.
The key is to keep it simple!

This weekend we finally got the opportunity to visit the beautiful Yarra Valley and what a fabulous day!
If you love wine and you love Australia, make sure you visit the Yarra Valley wineries.

Our first stop- Yering Station

Yering station is located in Yarra Glen with a wide range of wines to taste. When I say a wide range- I mean the wine tasting menu is quite extensive with at least 20 varieties that are complimentary to taste.

The staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their job.
After tasting about 10 varieties, I thought it was time to some local cheese to the tasting. and my stomach growling, I thought it was time to eat.
Instead of going to the restaurant which was full (a good sign), we went to the cafe on their upper level and ordered a cheese platter (cheese and wine makes the world a better place).  The view from the cafe was fantastic overlooking the valley and the hills.

I have heard raving reviews about the restaurant and would surely go back for brunch.
I would highly recommend visiting this immaculate estate.

Next up- Meletos, Coldstream

Gorgeous place, fantastic food and wonderful ambience!!

The winery has adjoining beautifully designed boutique guesthouse. The gardens are beautifully manicured with lots of outdoor seating for drinks and meals.

The food choices are superb and the atmosphere was buzzing, blame the beautiful day.
Meletos specialises in beer and cider brewing. Apple & pear cider was definitely the stand-out for me.

We chose to sit outside and it was the best decision. It's a terrific place for lunch/ dinner and the wood fired pizzas were sensational- the best ever.

I am willing to go back here for their ciders and pizzas at any cost.

The final destination- Domaine Chandon, Coldstream

Popular for their world-renowned champagne, this winery provides breathtaking views of the beautiful valley and the open space. The picturesque setting is outstanding and one of the reasons it attracts the crowd.

Entry is free and the place is beautiful with a lovely vibe. The staff understand wine really well. The staff member serving us could speak English, Mandarin and Deutsch. Another plus for overseas tourists.

Highly recommend the wine tasting, can't find any fault. They save the best for last- Chandon Sparking Pinot Shiraz- the best red wine I have tasted in a long time.

But the views and wine tasting is what people line up for.

P.S.- To avoid disappointment, make sure you book the Chandon restaurant in advance.

Happy weekend style lovers!

The weather is getting colder in Melbourne and one of my favourite looks during this time of the year is double denim or denim on denim (whatever you prefer).

Double denim is a trend that has been around for decades.
I used to think double denim is a big no-no for me but then again- never say never.

If done right, this look can be pulled off in so many different ways without looking boring.
Its all about the pieces you choose to put together.

I wanted to share three different double denim looks that are super easy to achieve-

Jeans & denim shirt
Jeans & denim jacket
Jeans & denim bomber jacket

Look 1- Jeans & denim shirt

To elevate my first look I added a black vest. You can instead add a blazer and pair it with your favourite pair of heels.

For me, the gold accessories were just right, but don't shy away from accessorising it with your favourite pieces of jewellery.

Jeans- Forever new
Shirt- Zara
Vest- Bardot
Shoes- Topshop_UK
Bag- Tory Burch
Watch- Michael Kors
Sunglasses- Dior Composit

Look 2- Jeans & denim jacket

To elevate this look I just added a pair of heeled peep toes. Denim jacket is one of my favourite looks as its practical but still rugged.

Jeans- Zara
Shirt- Bardot
Jacket- Topshop
Shoes- French Connection
Sunglasses- Dior Composit

Look 3- Jeans & denim bomber jacket-

Bomber jacket is one trending trends currently and I love this denim look bomber jacket. I paired it with a knit and the jacket is lightly lined too, keeps me warm on a chilly winter day.

Jeans- Zara
Knit- Sportsgirl
Bomber Jacker- H & M
Shoes- Tony Bianco
Bag- Zara
Sunglasses- Dior Composit

Some style secrets?-

Don't wear the denim that's exactly the same wash, you don't want to look too matchy matchy. Contrasting is essential when it comes to the double denim look.

Double denim usually looks good when paired with a skinny fit jeans. Baggy fit, not so much.

Wearing distressed denim when doing the double denim look is a great way of breaking up an all denim look. It also adds an edge to whole denim outfit.

This is it from me for today, but let me assure you - double denim is one look that is here to stay.

Hola amigos!

So Melbourne winter is finally here but this cute shirt dress that I recently got deserved a new post on this nice sunny winter day. So, I braved the weather (it's chilly) to soak up all the Vitamin D and wear my dress before I have to put it away for next 3 months.

So,what is a shirt dress?-  Shirt dress is simply an oversized long shirt.

This dress stood out for me due to the asymmetric hemline and the pockets. Now who would say no to pockets in a dress #winningalltheway

I love how it works for any occasion and is flattering on almost every body type. It is one of those no-fuss, required pieces in your wardrobe that can be effortlessly styled.
It can easily be dressed up or dressed down.

How to take this look from day to night?- You can achieve a casual simple day look by teaming it up with a pair of sandals or sneakers.
For a glammed up night look, just add a pair of strappy heeled sandals.

How to wear a shirt dress to work?- A shirt dress may seem casual, but it can easily be worn to work. Just add a blazer or a leather jacket.

Accessories- Accessorise with a long necklace and a nice thin belt around the waist to add shape.

(I bought this dress from Myer just a few days ago however unfortunately, Myer online doesn't let you search Pilgrim)

The boxy shirt is one of my favourite trends this season.
It's another piece that can be taken seamlessly from work to a casual brunch date.

This boxy shirt stole my heart as soon as I set my eyes on it.
It might seem like a tricky piece to put together but I am literally wearing it with everything.

Looking for more options to match this essential piece with the rest of your wardrobe?

Weekday / work look?- Wear this boxy shirt with a pencil skirt to work. Pencil skirts are slim and the boxy shirt creates a perfect balance and contrast. In addition, you get to flaunt your curves.
(Secret tip- Look for the shirts that are a little cropped but don't look like a cropped top).

Weekend look?- I love pairing this boxy shirt with a fitted pair of jeans/ pants for a more polished look.

Relaxed look?- Team it up with a pair of slouchy pants.
If you live on the other side of the world, where you are experiencing the beautiful spring, try pairing the boxy shirt with a pair of shorts- what's not to love!!

Thanks to the length and shape of this shirt, its flattering on almost every body shape.

Shoes options?- Heels/ sneakers/ brogues/ loafers- anything that you fancy.

So go ahead, think of a few styles that will let you break into this boxy box.
